Delights of the Sun

Noble boy and his pet sharing the treats of summer.

These are two characters I drew last year in a fancy Renaissance portrait:


I've grown fond of them and I'm thinking of giving them names, too. I think of this boy as an ethereal being who's all about purity and innocence (which is why a unicorn is the most apropriate companion for him).

I used watercolour, brown pastel, colour pencils, and ball pens.
